Joan Rivers a pioneer for women in comedy and television died at 1:17 pm ET on thursday in New York urrounded by familly and friends. The author/ reality star/ fashion critic was hospitalized on August 28 when she sufferred from cardiac arrest after her breathing stopped during surgery on her throat at a Manathan clinic.
