With hit songs like "Sekem" , and "Nek Unek" featuring Davido, Mc Galaxy has decided to release yet another hot new single, with a traditional flavor to it; "Kete Kete". "Kete Kete" features a new fast rising Nigerian female group known as True Voice.
“I was doing everything I could to bring out the tradition and culture in this song ,if you notice in my previous songs you see culture and dance ,so with this particular song i wanted to stick to that trend but this time add traditional and cultural love“ stated Galaxy.
Producer Chris String recorded the song with the musician in a studio in Lagos Nigeria while True Voice sent their audio to Chris String to be added to the song , which contributes to the single's traditional feel. Galaxy reflects on the experience: “I’ve never worked so fast, so boldly, and so excitedly in a studio. The result is a song that’s beautiful and loving, but at the same time fun and exciting. I have a good feeling about this song; The song is a benchmark for me.”
"Galaxy is a good friend to our managers Nonye Emecheta and Jeanne Forettia and has also became a good friends to us as well, it was pleasure working with someone so talented and fun to be around. We definitely look forward to working with him again in the future," stated True Voice.
